iLovemycats presents a series of drawings created during 2019. and 2020. They are made of charcoal and dry pastel on paper. dimensions 50x70cm.
Cats, which are the main motif of the series, are at the same time beloved pets and wild unknown beasts not necessarily cats. They are housed in cramped, confined, imaginary spaces and are sovereignly ruled.
Their dual existence thus represents a reference to Schrödinger’s cat, and this series of drawings in that key raises the question of the relationship between the real and the imaginary.

Is it even possible?
Is it possible to capture the moment?
The situation is impossible before our eyes.
